In pipeline engineering, butt-weld flanges are mainly used to connect the two ends of the pipeline. There are holes on the welding flange. Bolts make the two flanges tightly connected to the two ends of the pipeline to be connected or install flanges on one end. Some problems need to be paid attention to during installation.

First, choose the right flange and parts. If it is a low-pressure pipeline, you can choose a threaded flange. If the pressure exceeds four kilograms, you must choose to use a welding flange, add a sealing gasket between the two flanges, and then tighten it with bolts. Flanges with different pressures have different thicknesses, so choose the right bolts according to the thickness of the flange.

Then before connecting the butt-weld flange, clean the inside and outside of the stainless steel pipe fittings to be connected. Install the flanges with groove rings on the pipes to be connected. Finally, the pipe port needs to be flanged at 90 degrees. The treated pipe port needs to be polished. After polishing, it should be vertically flattened to ensure that there are no bumps, burrs and deformation problems, and the pipe mouth needs to be rounded with special tools.
